knyck chau is currently a student at the savannah college of art and design who is pursuing a master of architecture degree and is ambitious to be a multidisciplinary designer.

knyck used to work with the taiwanese children's troop "if theatre" in his early career as a theatrical technician. the stage play tour gave him the opportunity to travel around the greater china area. he was endued with a fanatic's heart in various fields of arts upon the observation of both the productions and the venues in different places. the experience taught him the significance of the audience's emotional changes to a performing show. during the years of study and practice, he comes up with a unique understanding of the relationships among design, space, and human. he uses bim systems, parametric design tools, versatile software skills, and solid handcraftsmanship to speak his creative language. he aims to establish interactions between spaces and their users and tries to achieve the "cradle to cradle" ideas in his design to a large extent.

knyck's projects involve architecture, interior design, installation arts, motion graphics, jewellery, furniture, kinetic mechanism, and product design. his studio brand "ateliers-unis" means "united workshops" in french. it was named after the concept of multidisciplinary interconnections in art and design.
